Hunting/Stalking in England

In UK we offer stalking on muntjac and chinese Waterdeer about 2h north of London. This relatively small species of deer have been introduced to England long time ago and have increased rapidly over time so that today huntiong on them is possible and necessary. A two to three day trip under normal circumstances should be enough to kill one of the two wild species. In case both species are planned four days should be scheduled even if it is possible to get this in three days.

Hunting areas
The hunting areas on muntjac consist of mixed forests with small bushes and field margins. The muntjac is hunted mainly in the forest.
Chinese Waterdeer on the other hand, is a resident of open spaces so it is not uncommon to see several Waterdeers standing on the field . The areas for Waterdeer consist largely of field / meadows where Chinese Waterdeer hide and eat.

hunting season:
The hunting season for Muntjac and Waterdeer ranges from Oktober to March.

Accommodation:
The accommodation is situated in a Bed & Breakfast near the hunting area. Alternatively we can arrange accomodation in a local 3 star hotel from the 18th century

Air:
England is dominated by the Gulf Stream and thus has a generally milder climate compared to Central Europe, however, UK has a higher percentage of rainfall. For hunting you should bring appropriate wet weather gear.
