Hunting in the Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic we offer both small-game hunting and big game hunts. Our partner is located in the small town Klatovy near the German border - 40 km north from the border crossing Bavarian Eisenstein and is he has his hunting operators in the Czech Republic since 1991. The areas where hunting is taking place, are either rented or self-owned by our Partners and located mainly in the western part of the Czech Republic, but not more than 100 kilometers from the German border.
Hunting regulations Czech Republic
For hunting in the Czech Republic you need a Czech hunting license (but please also bring your own valid hunting license from your home country) and a hunting liability insurance by the Czech Insurance Office. Both are organised by our partner for you. Export of trophies
The hunted trophies and the game meat from the Czech Republic can be imported to Germany and other EU states without any problems but we should check before the trip the specifics for your home country. A traceability may be required by the German/EU authorities at any time , ie the hunter must be able to demonstrate where the game is coming from. For this purpose you will get the hunting protocol which is created at the end of the hunt.

small game hunting
Our partner has years of experience in hunting small game and organized hunts for pheasants, king pheasants, wild turkeys and red-legged partridge. The hunt takes place in the hunting area Kakov. The hunting area with a Größ of 600ha located on the edge of the nature reserve Gebirkskamm Planice , about 40 km from the city of Pilsen , near the small town of Nepomuk between the villages Polanka and Pohori . The hunting area consists of different landforms with hills and alternating agriculture such as corn and forests.

wild turkey
Hunting season: 15.3. - 15.4
In the hunting area of our partner we can offer to hunt wild turkeys. The ideal weapon for hunting is the small caliber rifle or a combined gun.

big game hunting
In the Czech Republic we can offer hunting muofflon , red deer , fallow deer, roe deer and sika deer. We have different hunting areas depending on the type of game.
We recommend you the very successful roebuck hunting near the town Klatovy ( cabin in the woods is available).
The Mufflonjagd takes place in the area Planicko - Circle Klatovy instead.
For red deer hunting we in a huge former military area.
There is also the possibility of a driven hunt on biggame. Driven hunts on fallow deer , sika deer , hinds and wild boar are a traditional hunting method in the Czech Republic.



Accommodation During the hunt you are hosted in the cabin Pohori. The rooms come with toilet, shower , TV with satellite channels and WiFi internet connection. The following prices are valid as long as it is not already integrated in the hunt price.

Climate: The climate in the Czech Republic is very similar to that in Germany and is the transition between a Oceanic and a continental climate, where temperatures in comparison to Germany are cooler in the summer, but winters are not so cold in contrast and have a relative humidity.
